The first audio we listened to by Esther Hicks called Decision making LOA Style:
Esther talked about feeling your way into the right decision using the path of least resistance and the art of allowing. She says we often put decisions off too long. She suggests not making any strong decisions for 30 days until you’re comfortable with following the path of least resistance. That’s because “whatever vibration you’ve been offering is the path of least resistance”. Contrast helps you make distinctions. Pay attention to how you feel. She told the story of the “backseat driver” in the car. She says to make sure that your True Intent has first been activated so you don’t get sidetracked into making the wrong decision. If you are in your alignment with your best well-being, you will always be on the path of least resistance. “You can’t take a wrong turn when you are in sync with who you are and you can’t take a right turn when you’re not.” Just stay aligned with the energy that is YOU.
Bottom Line: When You’re in the habit of practicing the path of least resistance, the path of action becomes obvious.
Some thoughts from the group:
- The path of least resistance is what we always have to feel for. Also, the path of least resistance is whatever we offer vibrationally. Therefore, we have to find the best feeling path for our decision.
- Indecision will activate a wishy/washy energy. When faced with a decision, don’t put it off. Examine possibilities, feel for the high energy feeling of what is the right decision and then Take Action.
- Once you make a decision, don’t second guess it. Get behind it and know, the Universe is going to deliver on your decision.
- If you’re having a hard time making a decision, meditate, examine your options and feel for what’s going to take you down the right life path, that aligns with your values and goals.
- Try your decisions on to see how they feel. You can make a 10 second decision to see how it feels and then try a different one and compare which feels best.
- Scott brought up the app that he uses on his phone called Mind Bell. He uses it to be more mindful but it would be a good tool also to use to focus in on the path of least resistance.
- Choice is one of the most basic things that makes us human. Basically, all we are doing on a momentary basis is making choices. When we realize this, we can pay attention to our choices in the moment and use our intuition to feel our way into the most empowering choices, the choices that lead to the path of least resistance.
The final audio we listened to by Esther Hicks called The Power of Decision:
Esther warns, in this audio, against “efforting”. She suggests saying something like this to yourself after you’ve made the decision: Now, I’ve sifted, I’ve sorted, I’ve asked, it’s stirred, it’s cooked, it’s launched and I’ve realized it. I have nothing more to do than be a joyful witness to the inevitable laws of the Universe turning my vision into a reality. Feel the “ease and flow” and then “follow the impulse that comes to you”.
Our next meeting is September 7th, at 6:30 pm at Schuler Books on 28th St in Grand Rapids MI
